About SENDIASS
Hillingdon SENDIASS offers free information, advice and support for parents/carers of 0 to 25-year-olds with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The service is impartial and confidential.
How SENDIASS can help you
We can provide you with information, advice and support on:
- accessing SEND support in schools
- education, health and care (including education, health and care plans)
- how you can take part in decisions
- preparing for adulthood.
We can also signpost you to relevant services available to you.
We encourage and support parents/carers and young people to:
- play an active role in the educational journey of the child or young person with SEND
- be involved in decisions
- work towards the best possible outcome for the child or young person.
Please note: Young people aged 16+ can access SENDIASS independently.
