About SENDIASS

Hillingdon SENDIASS offers free information, advice and support for parents/carers of 0 to 25-year-olds with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The service is impartial and confidential.

How SENDIASS can help you

We can provide you with information, advice and support on:

  • accessing SEND support in schools
  • education, health and care (including education, health and care plans)
  • how you can take part in decisions
  • preparing for adulthood.

We can also signpost you to relevant services available to you.

We encourage and support parents/carers and young people to:

  • play an active role in the educational journey of the child or young person with SEND
  • be involved in decisions
  • work towards the best possible outcome for the child or young person.

Please note: Young people aged 16+ can access SENDIASS independently.
